SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ? ASSISTANT TEACHER Primary Responsibilities: Ų Implement daily program and age-appropriate activities based on provided lesson plans. Ų Create and maintain an attractive, safe, positive, environment in the classroom. Ų Ensure the safety of children through direct supervision of activities and children. Ų Set up materials to be used in daily routines per lesson plans. Ų Understand and closely follow NYS OCFS Regulations for DCC Ų Communicate with all co-teachers and assistants in classroom. Qualifications: Ų High School Diploma, experience with early childhood education, CDA preferred. Ų Flexible, dependable, professional, and conscientious Ų Ability to effectively communicate with children, professionals, and families. Ų Be willing to work flexible hours as needed. $7.50 ? $8.50 per hour, based on ECE experience. Hours vary according to need.
