Christ Church Nursery School, located in Greenwich, CT, is looking for a qualified and experienced childhood educator. Our play-based curriculum, inspired by the philosophy of Reggio Emilia, builds upon childrens natural curiosity and interests and cultivates joy and wonder. Skilled teachers carefully observe their students at play, responding, extending and guiding towards new learning. Students and teachers work alongside one another on robust projects of study where children learn to ask questions, gather resources, conduct fieldwork, document their findings, and report on their new discoveries. This project approach delivers on important learning goals while deeply engaging children, building motivation, and fostering a life-long love of learning and exploration.
