We are seeking a new IB Psychology Teacher to join our team. Your role will be to facilitate innovative learning through interest-based project teaching and learning, lead our growing team of dedicated students' success, and promote teacher retention and loyalty.

As a member of the Psychology department, you will work with other teachers and report to our Social Studies Department Chair.

What You Will Do:

• Encourage students to be self-directed entrepreneurial learners
• Apply teaching practices that are grounded in the real world
• Foster Interdisciplinary learning, teaching, and instruction
• Build and maintain relationships with teachers and key personnel within our school community
• Conduct regular teaching reviews to ensure teachers are satisfied with their teaching and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
• Escalate and resolve areas of concern as raised by clients

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Psychology and/or neuroscience degree(s)
• Well-rounded understanding of psychology at the biological, cognitive, and sociocultural levels
• Solid grasp of research methods in psychology
• Experience in teaching research methods in general
• Experience in guiding research papers
• Prior teaching experience at the high school level, some international experience preferred
• Prior experience with DP curriculum (IB Psychology in particular)
• MYP teaching experience
• Individualized Education Program
• Project Based Learning

• Lesson Planning

• Good writing skills
