We are seeking a new IB Psychology Teacher to join our team. Your role will be to facilitate innovative learning through interest-based project teaching and learning, lead our growing team of dedicated students' success, and promote teacher retention and loyalty.
As a member of the Psychology department, you will work with other teachers and report to our Social Studies Department Chair.
What You Will Do:
- Encourage students to be self-directed entrepreneurial learners
- Apply teaching practices that are grounded in the real world
- Foster Interdisciplinary learning, teaching, and instruction
- Build and maintain relationships with teachers and key personnel within our school community
- Conduct regular teaching reviews to ensure teachers are satisfied with their teaching and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Escalate and resolve areas of concern as raised by clients
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:
- Psychology and/or neuroscience degree(s)
- Well-rounded understanding of psychology at the biological, cognitive, and sociocultural levels
- Solid grasp of research methods in psychology
- Experience in teaching research methods in general
- Experience in guiding research papers
- Prior teaching experience at the high school level, some international experience preferred
- Prior experience with DP curriculum (IB Psychology in particular)
- MYP teaching experience
- Individualized Education Program

The starting salary with Bachelor degree without experience is $50,794.00 per year.
