Christian Preschool in the Cambrian area of San Jose is seeking a full-time or part-time Lead Preschool Teacher (2's or 3s) who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives and have the call to minister to young children ages 2 through entry into first grade.

Lead Teacher Qualifications:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field and experience or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
• Over 24 ECE units and 2 years experience teaching
• Current Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• 8-hours Preventative Health and Safety training.
• Child Development Teacher Permit preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Pass Background Check; complete LIC 508 and if already cleared also complete LIC 9182.
• Pass physical exam showing immunizations for TB, measles, influenza and pertussis by licensed physician; complete LIC 503
• Concurrence with mandated reporting requirements, complete LIC 9052
• Concurrence with child abuse reporting requirements, complete LIC 9108

You have a thorough understanding of child development and are capable of leading children and families to a deeper understanding of the Gospel message of Christ's love. You thrive in a collaborative environment and love pitching in wherever needed.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time $22 - $28 per hour depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.
