We are seeking a new Science Teacher to join our team. Your role will be to The Science Teacher is responsible for providing academic instruction to students in a highly structured alternative school. He / She will help students learn subject matter and skills that will broaden their learning experiences and contribute to their development. In a small classroom setting, the Science Teacher will address the academic and emotional/behavioral needs of the students as set forth in their Individual Education Plan (IEP). Responsibilities include developing interesting lesson plans and curricula; collaborating with other teachers; completing student assessments; and addressing any performance issues; managing the classroom and individual student behavior to maintain an advantageous learning environment..
You will be a member of the Small School Setting and report to our Director of Education.

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent communication skills, and an ability to demonstrate understanding and empathy.
- Good organizational skills and be prepared to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Practical experience with MS Office, Google Classroom, and other software.Parent Communication
- Lesson Planning
