Preschool Music Teacher

What We Offer

• Pay range: $35 - $40
• Location: 57 Cronin Drive, Santa Clara, CA
• This is a part-time position. The hours are either 9-11:30am or 2-3:30pm.

About the Role

Teaching preschool music at Stratford School is a unique experience. It allows the teacher to lay a musical foundation for young students to become lifelong appreciators of all types of music. Music teachers collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and integrate the core knowledge curriculum within the music program, such as music history.

You will also

• Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum for our Preschool classrooms
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Play piano for classroom performances
• Assist teachers with the use of rhythm instruments
• Introduce young students to the piano, specifically

What We Are Looking For

• A bachelors degree in Music Education or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred; a high school diploma is required
• Piano proficiency and sight reading expertise required
• Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred
