This is a 30 hr/week position. Applicants will be working with students with disabilities ranging from cognitive to behaviors. Job requirements: High school diploma, effective communications kills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with a team in a fast paced work.

  • Required Responsibilities and Job Tasks:
    • Follow the specific directions given by the supervising teacher when working with students.

    • Maintain positive communication at all times when conducting ESU 7 business or representing ESU 7.

    • Support students to develop independent life skills.

      • Meal preparation (menu development, shopping, meal preparation and clean up).

      • Developing independent hygiene skills.

      • Social skill development.

    • Support and accompany students on job sites.
      • Support students in job preparation (uniforms, ID’s, hygiene, skills needed)
      • Complete job site work journal/evaluation
    • Maintain and submit one-on-one student hours.
    • Maintain confidentiality of information concerning staff, students, and parents within all districts served.
    • Adhere to all ESU 7 policies, rules, regulations, and supervisory directives.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by ESU 7 Chief Administrator or designee.
    • Other duties as assigned.
