Elementary Teacher - Grade 3

Position: Third Grade Teacher Location: Northridge Elementary School School Year: 2025–2026 District: Northridge Local School District

Northridge Local Schools is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to join our team as a Third Grade Teacher at Northridge Elementary. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, deliver standards-based instruction, and support the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with Ohio Learning Standards

• Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction

• Collaborate with grade-level team and support staff

• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress

• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

• Integrate technology and best instructional practices

• Participate in professional development and school initiatives

• Valid Ohio teaching license in Early Childhood Education (PK–3) or Elementary (1–8), or appropriate licensure for Third Grade

• Demonstrated knowledge of child development and elementary curriculum

• Effective classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment

• Successful background check and compliance with all state and district employment requirements
