About the Role

In our middle school program, we provide thorough instruction in all academic programs. English classes focus on writing, grammar, literary criticism, and language arts, while in our Social Studies program, students learn about not only major historical events and people, but also develop a worldwide perspective. You will have the opportunity to guide students in these goals while enjoying our innovative learning spaces where we enhance, engage, and empower student learning.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement curriculum with English and History lessons
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy nurturing environment for students
  • Attend staff meetings, school programs, and in-service training.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in History, English, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Prior teaching experience is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass both state and federal background checks
