High School Special Education Teacher Maternity Leave

Duties

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide special education services to students with disabilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide instruction to students with disabilities.
• Develop goals for students with disabilities and write Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Conduct IEP meetings.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding individual student progress.
• Maintain progress records and record progress toward IEP goals.
• Accepts other responsibilities and duties, relevant to teaching assignments, as assigned by the administration.

Qualifications

Must have PEL endorsed for special education teaching.

Salary/Benefits

Commensurate with education and experience.
