Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct communication to appropriate team members
- Process and document consults efficiently and accurately
- Coordinate and set up patient transport within the facility
- Activate (Stroke, STEMI, trauma, Sepsis) alerts as needed following protocols
- Support clinical staff in facilitating timely and effective care delivery
- Maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with departmental procedures
- Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as required to support patient flow and operations
Required:
1. HS Diploma or equivalent.
2. Six months of health care work experience, preferred.
3. Minimum 6 months of steady work history.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows preferred
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Prior ER experience strongly preferred
