Unit Associate I - Per Diem, Evenings 12pm-12am, ED, Morristown Medical Center

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct communication to appropriate team members
• Process and document consults efficiently and accurately
• Coordinate and set up patient transport within the facility
• Activate (Stroke, STEMI, trauma, Sepsis) alerts as needed following protocols
• Support clinical staff in facilitating timely and effective care delivery
• Maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with departmental procedures
• Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as required to support patient flow and operations

Required:
1. HS Diploma or equivalent.
2. Six months of health care work experience, preferred.
3. Minimum 6 months of steady work history.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting
• Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows preferred
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Prior ER experience strongly preferred
