The Naselle-Gray Rivers School District is a K-12 district located 30 miles east of the Pacific Ocean in southwest Washington serving about 300 students.

General Responsibilities:
Provide engaging, standards-aligned music instruction for students K-12; maintain a positive learning environment; differentiate to support performance's/program events; communicate with families; and collaborate with staff to support student success.

Terms of Employment:

The salary range for the 2026-2027 school year is $56,038-$105,621 annually based on education and experience.

Essential Functions:

1. Teach assigned music courses across K-12.
2. Provide elementary general music and secondary music offerings (MS/HS) as scheduled.
3. Provide band/choir/instrumental/vocal instruction as assigned.
4. Plan and support concerts/performances and program events/
5. Maintain a safe, structured classroom; differentiate instructions; use assessment data.
6. Communicate with families and collaborate with colleagues.

Other Functions:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Valid Washington State teaching certificate (or eligible).
2. Strong classroom management and communication/collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Music endorsement (K-12).
2. Additional endorsements (e.g., Elementary, Instrumental/Vocal).

Working Conditions:

1. Classroom Environment and Performance Settings.
2. Occasional evening commitments for concerts/performances.

Employment Requirements:

1. Successful completion of a criminal history and fingerprint check through the WA State Patrol and FBI.
