Paraprofessional

Dennett Elementary School, in Plympton, MA is seeking a full time long term substitute paraprofessional whose primary role is to support students with disabilities. The assignment of this role will be dependent on the needs of students in the building and will report to the building principal. Start date is ASAP and we anticipate this role to last through April 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• supporting students in general education classes and/or substantially separate classrooms
• providing accommodations to students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
• collaborating with regular education and Special Education teachers
• and other duties to be assigned by building administration.

An ideal candidate:

• should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• will collaborate with other staff members.
• would be willing and take professional development offered by the district.

Hours are 8:00 - 3:00 Monday to Friday.

This is a full time, position and is not benefits eligible due to the length of the assignment.

Salary is $17.94 per hour.
