Job Goal: To provide support to classroom teacher(s) by assisting students with disabilities and/or behavioral challenges. The position focuses on promoting positive student behavior, implementing behavior management strategies, and supporting students in developing the skills necessary for success in the classroom.Temporary Assignment: through the end of the school year June 22ndMonday-Friday: 7 hours per dayAssist classroom teacher(s) in implementing accommodations, modifications, and behavior intervention plans aligned with students individual needs.Support students in developing self-regulation, social, and problem-solving skills.Reinforce positive behaviors and apply consistent behavioral supports under teacher or specialist guidance.Collect data on student behaviors and progress as directed.Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.Collaborate with staff to support the implementation of strategies that promote student engagement and access to the general curriculum.

Job Requirements
Minimum of an Associates Degree; Bachelors Degree preferred.Experience working in an elementary school setting is strongly preferred.Knowledge of behavioral management techniques, de-escalation strategies, and positive behavior supports is preferred.Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and support staff to maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.
