Junior High Math Teacher

Duties

Virginia Jr.-Sr. High School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable math teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics to students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed in their mathematical pursuits.

Qualifications

• Valid Professional Education License with a middle school math endorsement, or be willing to work towards the required certification per ISBE guidelines.
• Understanding of mathematics and curriculum standards
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Salary/Benefits

The employment package for positions will be commensurate with the collectively bargained agreement that can be viewed on the Virginia CUSD 64 website.
