• Teacher Planning Day: June 5th
• 5.0 Hours for Instructional Assistants: 7:15 am - 12:15 pm
• Total of 25 days; 6/8-6/11; 6/15-6/18; 6/22-6/25; 6/29-7/2; 7/6-7/9; 7/13-7/16; 7/20
• 4.5 Instructional Hours for Students
• The student hours will be 7:30 am - 12:00 pm (6/8-7/20/2026)
• Students will participate Monday – Thursday

PROGRAM SUMMARY

A state-required Summer Bridge Program will be provided by school districts to eligible students who completed a school-year Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program from private and public providers prior to enrollment in kindergarten. Eligible students must have obtained a score below the 25th percentile on the PM 3 window of the VPK FAST. The Summer Bridge Program will have an emphasis on emergent literacy instruction grounded in the science of reading.

REQUIREMENT

• Associate Degree, completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score on the ParaPro Assessment .
