Loudoun Country Day School (LCDS) is looking for an enthusiastic, talented educator to join our team as a Fifth Grade Lead Teacher for the 20262027 academic year.

This is a full-time position, and the individual hired will teach Language Arts and Math every day to the students in their homeroom, and a specialty subject (possibly science, social studies, writing, or grammar) twice per week to all of the students in the fifth grade. They will also attend teacher workdays and meetings, and assume various duties commensurate with those of other LCDS full-time teachers.

Loudoun Country Day School (LCDS) is an independent, coeducational school in Leesburg, Virginia, educating about 365 students in preschool through 8th grade.

  • Bachelors degree is required (advanced degree is preferred), preferably in Education or one of the subjects that would be taught by the candidate (English, Math, Science, Social Studies)
