Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Previous experience working with students in special education across K12 (Preferred)
- Proficiency in developing and modifying IEPs to address unique student needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to implement differentiated instruction and behavior management plans
- Experience delivering math instruction at elementary, middle, or high school levels a plus
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized instruction, accommodations, and modifications to address a wide spectrum of academic and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student progress
- Monitor, record, and report on student achievement and IEP goal attainment
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all students feel supported
- Attend team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development sessions as required
- Utilize assessments and data-driven strategies to inform instructional decisions
- Maintain accurate and timely records in line with school and district guidelines
