Job Description

St. Robert Catholic School is looking for an exceptional person who wants to work with all ages of students! We are looking for a teacher who wishes to share their love of art with our students starting in August of 2026. This is a part time position with the prospect of more hours for the right candidate! This opportunity would include:

-Teaching Art 3 days a week to our preschool-8th grade students.

Job Requirements:

-Position requires the planning, organization, and implementation of Diocesan curriculum for the arts.

-Meet the needs of all student levels.

-Work collaboratively with current faculty to integrate classroom topics of learning

-A strong classroom management plan that sets high expectations for all students.

-A teaching philosophy that aligns with the expectations of Robert Catholic School.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

-Current State of Michigan Certificate or art background with teaching experience

-A practicing Catholic who upholds the teachings of the Catholic Church

-Be willing to work with Jackson Public Schools as a shared time teacher.

Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:

-Collaboration skills

-A heart for service

-Catechist Certification

-Virtus - Protecting God's Children Certification
