Job Overview:
Lebanon Middle School seeks a full-time Long Term Substitute 7th & 8th Grade Language Arts Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year ending on 06/15/2026. This educator will be responsible for teaching Language Arts and Social Studies, while serving as an advisor to 7th & 8th grade students in our learner-centered environment. The Ideal candidate will need to be able to:
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
Embrace innovative teaching practices such as Project & Problem-Based Learning.
Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning.
Engage students in real-world applications of English literacy and social studies.
Work well in a team-based model and contribute to a strong professional learning community.
The regular work schedule is 7.5 hours a day, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute duty-free lunch.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field is preferred.
Valid NH teaching license in Elementary Education with Language Arts or related field endorsement.
At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred.
Strong technology integration skills

This position is not eligible for benefits.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
