Now Hiring Paraprofessionals/Teacher Assistants near Simi Valley, CA, for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity for highly experienced school-based support staff who are available to start on the 26/27 school year.

Location: Simi Valley, CA
Position: Paraprofessional
Schedule: Full-Time (Placement dependent)
Start Date: Next School Year
Setting: School-based Special Education support

Responsibilities:

• Support students in special education classrooms across all age groups
• Assist with academic, behavioral, and daily living needs
• Provide 1:1 and classroom-based support as needed
• May include personal care support such as toileting and diapering
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and adhere to strict sign-in/sign-out procedures

Requirements (NO EXCEPTIONS):

• Minimum 2 years of school-based experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Technician, RBT, or similar role
• Extensive experience working in Special Education settings during those 2 years
• Must be open to working with any age group and caseload
• Must be comfortable with toileting and diapering duties if required
• Must be punctual and reliable for strict attendance/time tracking procedures
