Job Description

Conant High School is seeking a dynamic Math educator who believes in individualizing education in order to maximize student learning.

This educator must consistently seek to build strong relationships with students, parents, staff and community. The ideal candidate will be able to:

Implement relevant and rigorous learner outcomes written in learning progressions.

Align curriculum, instruction and assessment to clear learning targets.

Offer opportunities for meaningful student voice and choice.

Establish a strong, positive learning environment.

Serve as a Teacher Mentor for a small group of students.

Assess and monitor learning using a variety of methods and adjust instruction accordingly to individual student needs.

Be a positive and active member of various learning communities within the school.
