Job Description
Position Criteria:
Valid Iowa teaching license, required
K-8 Music endorsement, required
Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Performance Criteria:
Schedule, prepare, and direct elementary music performances
Facilitate the selection process of students participating in honor choir
Attend honor choir concert(s) with selected students
Reserve rehearsal and performance facilities
Arrange bussing for student concert rehearsals occurring at a separate performance facility
Maintain availability outside of school for individual and small group assistance
Collaborate with facility support staff as needed including Operations and Performing Arts Center Management
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the District

403B Tax Sheltered Annuity (TSA) - $50 per month contribution for certified staff
Health and Dental Insurance paid for the employee (spouse/family coverage available at an additonal cost)
