Job Description
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a qualified Teaching Assistant commencing at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The teaching assistant role is a district-wide position.
Duties and Responsibilities(Not limited to):
The teaching assistant's role is to support students in the general education classroom and within the ACE Alternative Program. ACE supports students with additional executive functioning, and social-emotional needs. On a daily basis the teaching assistant will be:
Supports the ACE teaching staff in the ACE program classes
Works with ACE classroom teacher(s) to assist students in organizing and completing their assignments, quizzes, and tests
Provides support in identified content area(s), clarifies and reteaches material, in collaboration with the classroom teacher
Collaborates with the special educator(s) and other members of the ACE Team
Supports students in their classes outside of the ACE program, as assigned by the program administrator
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
Excellent communication skills
Great organizational skills
Capacity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility
Experience Preferable:
Experience working with high school students in a teaching, tutoring or other supportive role
Experience working in specialized programs that support students with mild to moderate social-emotional and executive functioning needs
Familiarity with high school curriculum in a variety of content areas
Work Schedule:
10 Months, 182 Days
180 student days, plus 2 professional development days
M/T/Th/Fr
8:30am - 3:15pm
Wednesday
8:30am - 1:30pm
Salary Range:
$28.36/hour - $37.85/hour
