We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Seward, Alaska. In this role, you will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs while collaborating closely with families, staff, and related service providers to help every student succeed both academically and personally.

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters or bachelors degree in special education from an accredited educational program.
  • Valid Alaska state special education certificate or the ability to obtain required state certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K12 public school settings.
  • Previous work with transition planning for secondary students.

Assignment Details

  • 2 positions in Kenai, AK
  • Position 1 is for life skills or self-contained classroom.
  • Position 2 is working as a resource teacher.
  • Small class size and paraprofessional support.
