Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Massachusetts Special Education License required
• Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learner needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Modify curriculum and instruction tailored to students learning styles and abilities
• Monitor student progress, set goals, and document academic and behavioral achievements
• Use a variety of instructional techniques to engage students
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming classroom community
• Support transitions and daily routines for students with disabilities
