    Description: Teacher - Special Education , 1 FTE

    Job Summary: The Elementary School Teacher for Lakota Local Schools is responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for students in grades K-6.

    This role involves designing and delivering high-quality instruction aligned with state standards, fostering student growth academically, socially, and emotionally. The teacher supports differentiated

    learning needs, implements evidence-based instructional practices, and cultivates a positive classroom culture that encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

    Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education; valid Ohio K-6 Intervention Specialist License

    Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff. Effective classroom management techniques. Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction.

    Adaptability in responding to diverse student learning needs.

    Working Conditions: 7.75 hours per day, 184 days per school year calendar.
