Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Serve as a role model and witness to our Catholic faith.
- Embrace the Augustinian values of truth, unity, and love.
- Focus instruction on developing Spanish literacy skills.
- Incorporate the World Language Learning Standards into curriculum.
- Integrate technology in classroom teaching.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Provide academic interventions to at-risk learners.
- Exhibit strong classroom management skills and collaboration skills.
- Revise curriculum and align to Professional Learning Standards.
- Utilize a variety of authentic assessment strategies.
Professional Credentials:
- State of Illinois Teaching License (Required)
- High School Spanish Teaching Endorsement (Required)
- Bilingual, English and Spanish (Required)
- High School Classroom Teaching Experience (Strongly Preferred)
Certifications and Requirements (May be completed after hire):
- DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate
- Illinois Sexual Harassment Training Certificate
- Diocese of Joliet Protecting God's Children
- Diocese of Joliet Fingerprinting & Background Check
- Work Physical/Statement of Health from Physician

Salary Range Starting Salary Range: $42,760-$47,763 (Step 1); Based on experience and education
- **Final salary will be determined by relevant teaching experience and relevant education**
