Head Start Head Teacher

The Head Start Head Teacher is responsible for the education of Head Start children which includes creating a nurturing and educational learning environment. As the leader ot the classroom teaching team, the Head Teacher is responsible for ensuring the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and Ohio's Early Learning Standards are implemented through lesson plans and engaging activities. The position includes a 40 hour work week, professional development opportunities, on-going education, sick leave, personal leave, insurance, and retirement packages are offered.
