Description:
Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a part-time (.8 FTE) Special Education Early Childhood Teaching Assistant at Greenbrier Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year.
Salary: $21.00/hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:45 am - 3:30 pm
Teaching Assistants provide support to our students with special education needs. Special Education Teachers will provide guidance to ensure that teaching assistants are implementing the Individualized Education Plans for students throughout their school day in general education classes, small group instruction, hallway transitions, lunch, recess and activities of daily living (e.g. toileting, eating, dressing, grooming).
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Illinois Paraprofessional License, SUB license or PEL
- Have a genuine interest in students
- Ability to effectively communicate with children and adults
