Special Education Teacher in Mc Coll, SC

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License
• BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification (for PCD Teacher)
• Multi-Categorical endorsement
• Experience teaching K-8 within self-contained or resource environments preferred
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction abilities
• Passion for fostering inclusivity and growth in diverse student populations

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide instruction in multi-categorical self-contained settings for Kindergarten through 2nd grade
• Serve as EC Resource Teacher for K-8 and ED Resource Teacher for K-5, supporting students at multiple elementary and middle schools
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that accommodate various learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate regularly with families and staff
• Support a collaborative, caring classroom atmosphere
