2026-2027 Math Teacher 6-8

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with certification in Math 6-8

Experience: Prefer an individual with knowledge of the general needs of students

at this grade level, and the ability to work cooperatively of with staff, students, and parents.

Illustrative Duties:

1. Provides general instruction to students in their daily instructional activities by developing and

implementing lesson plans that meet the requirements the district’s curriculum program

2. Work with other members of the staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and

instructional methods

3. Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing

4. Assume responsibility of the extracurricular activities as assigned

5. Be a positive role model for students, and support mission of campus and district

6. Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, administration, and

other staff members
