Hamilton USD #390 is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 3rd/4th Grade Combined Classroom Teacher to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to teach in a small-school setting where relationships, collaboration, and student success are at the heart of everything we do. Hamilton is a small community located 30 miles south of Emporia on Highway 99 in the beautiful Flint Hills of Greenwood County, Kansas. Our staff is dedicated to the learning of every child. With our low enrollment, students receive more intense individualized and differentiated instruction. All students and staff are provided with a dedicated laptop to ensure instruction continues if/when an off campus instructional style is required. All classrooms are equipped with high-end Star Boards to ensure all students, whether attending remotely or on campus in person, receive the best instruction and interaction available. The education curriculum meets common core state standards, has Kansas Scholar capability, and is accompanied with an array of extra-curricular activities that include opportunities in business, music, ag and sports.
