8th Grade Social Studies Teacher/Girls Coach - Middle School North

Job Description:

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Coach girls athletic events including soccer with two other sports to be determined.

Salary Structure: (Based on 2025-2026 Compensation Plan)

Starting Date: August, 2026

2025-2026 Teacher Salary Schedule (Salaries listed include all applicable coaching stipends):

0 Years = $74,030

15 Years = $93,393

Add $1,200 for Master's Stipend.

Add $5,000 for National Board Teacher Certification

Employment Days: 187

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate for Subject/Grade.
• 4-8 (Social Studies or Generalist), History (Grades 7-12) or Social Studies Composite.
• P.E. Certificate
