This position will be assigned to an Extensive Support Needs classroom which may include Autism or students with extensive needs. License or Certificate: Possession of an appropriate California Special Education Teaching Credential, i.e., Educational Specialist - Moderate Severe Disabilities, Extensive Support Needs OR Specialist Instruction, Severely Handicapped. Must have EL Authorization. Experience and Training Guidelines: Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying. Possession of a B.A. Degree supplemented by recent teaching experience including experience and/or training within the domain of the required credential.

Benefits: Employees assigned to this schedule are entitled to receive vision, dental and medical coverage for the employee and their dependents. Employees have a choice between various medical plans. Each plan may have an employee premium contribution amount for which the employee can utilize a tax sheltered Section 125 Plan. The COE contribution is prorated based on FTE.
