Lodi Public Schools is seeking the following:

POSITION: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

LOCATION: Hilltop Elementary School

EFFECTIVE: September 1, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Applicant must hold proper NJDOE Teaching/Special Education Certifications;

2. Applicant must demonstrate a strong knowledge of instructional strategies to engage all students in meaningful course work and possess knowledge of the G Suite for Education.

3. Applicant shall demonstrate a strong commitment to professional growth and possess excellent classroom management skills;

4. Experience teaching in a LLD Severe Program is preferred;

5. Knowledge of behavior strategies, communication supports and life skills instruction;

6. Use positive behavior supports and instructional data to guide teaching;

7. Creates and maintains a structured learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

SALARY: $60,650; Negotiable based on degree and years of service
