Our client is looking to add a Project Manager to their team for a project located on the LA General hospital campus in Los Angeles, CA. This is a 12 month contract opportunity that could lead to being brought on for additional projects. This work could potentially be done remotely.
The Construction Project Manager manager will be responsible for maintaining the procurement log for construction projects. This role is critical to ensure timely delivery of materials, services, and other project-related needs.
Qualifications
3-5 years of Project management experience
Effective communication skills, sense of urgency and ownership, ability to work as part of a team.
Own and manage the project procurement log from start to finish.
Provide regular updates to the project team on the status of materials, services, and deliveries.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to confirm lead times and shipping schedules.
Identify potential delays and communicate proactively to help keep the project on schedule.
Support the project team with procurement-related documentation and communication.
