Sub for After School Program

Tiny Chefs is looking for energetic, fun, organized, punctual, and dependable educators for after school enrichment classes in the DMV.

Currently we are looking for on-call substitutes for our after school programs. This on-call substitute must be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 2pm-6:30pm and be willing to travel.

On-call substitutes will be given on-call pay of up to $200 per pay period, regardless if they are called to substitute. If called to substitute, you will be paid your hourly rate for the class times you work. If traveling more than 20miles, travel reimbursement will be discussed.

During the 60-minute class, instructors will guide students through a lesson on how to make the recipe, learn about the ingredients utilized, demonstrate safety measures and cooking techniques and learn social skills such as teamwork, communication, following directions, and manners. Tiny Chefs provides all equipment and curriculum. Instructors are responsible for shopping for the groceries for their class and bringing the necessary Tiny Chefs cooking supplies and groceries to each class. Professional cooking experience is not required, but a passion for food and teaching experience are ideal!

Substitutes must be able to pass a Federal & State of Maryland background check and be over the age of 21.

Candidate must have reliable, private, transportation that allows travel to different locations and the ability to transport supplies & ingredients.
