Substitute Teacher Jobs in Clark, NJ
A Substitute Teacher steps into the role of a regular Elementary Teacher when they are absent, ensuring the continuity of education for students. The Substitute Teacher plans and delivers lessons according to the regular teacher's curriculum plans, manages the classroom, and maintains a positive, engaging learning environment. Individuals may gain experience in roles such as a Teaching Assistant, Tutor or Child Care Worker before becoming a substitute teacher. This provides them with exposure and understanding of the school environment and the responsibilities involved in teaching.
