About the Role

Elementary teachers at The Rhoades School have the unique opportunity to work with gifted and intellectually curious students and implement new academic challenges and opportunities. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs and passions of gifted students and includes advanced reading and writing skills, math, social studies, and science, and encourages faculty to set high standards in a supportive environment.

You will also

• Develop classroom resources and a physical environment that supports students and their learning
• Collaborate with other faculty and school teams to positively impact student experience
• Continuously bring together different instructional methods to help students delve deeper into subjects
• Communicate with parents to support student achievement

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• 2 or more years full-time teaching experience in an elementary or middle school
• Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
• Strong communicator with the ability to help students delve deep into subjects
• Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
