South Gray Schools is currently looking for an elementary teacher that would serve both Copeland Elementary and Montezuma Elementary Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. This could potentially be a JH Vocal Position for the right candidate as well.

This is a shared teaching position between USD 476 Copeland and USD 371 Montezuma.

We would love to find a passionate certified/licensed elementary music teacher to join our Rebel team!

Montezuma and Copeland are currently participating in a cooperative sharing agreement. They have been in this agreement for 29 years. Each school houses PK - 5. Copeland houses the Junior High 6-8 and Montezuma houses the HS 9 - 12. Montezuma`s enrollment is 200 PK-5 and 9-12 and Copeland`s enrollment is 169 students PK - 8. Both districts are members of the High Plains Cooperative for Special Education Cooperative based in Ulysses, and the Southwest Plains Regional Service Center in Sublette.
