Position Summary:

Manhattan Catholic Schools seeks a dedicated and faith-filled Junior High Math Teacher to serve students in grades 68. This educator will foster a strong foundation in mathematics while cultivating critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset. The ideal candidate will integrate academic excellence with the mission of Catholic education, forming students both intellectually and spiritually.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction for grades 68
2. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
3. Use data to monitor student progress and inform instruction
4. Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment rooted in respect and accountability
5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and school initiatives
6. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and growth
7. Model Catholic values and actively support the faith life and mission of the school

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field
2. Valid Kansas teaching license (or ability to obtain)
3. Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
4. Strong classroom management and communication skills
5. Willingness to be an active member of the school community
