Qualifications & Desired Experience: Hold a valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for middle school. Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities, preferably in a self-contained classroom. Strong skills in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Familiarity with behavior management strategies and differentiated instruction. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families. Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment. Role Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction to a small caseload of middle schoolers in a self-contained setting. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs; track and report student progress. Collaborate with support staff, fellow educators, and families to meet students' educational goals. Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies tailored to students' unique needs. Adapt classroom materials and assignments to optimize learning experiences. Maintain a safe, encouraging classroom environment and handle behavioral challenges constructively.
