MAGDALENA, NM- Magdalena Municipal Schools is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and qualified Pre-K Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Curriculum & Instruction: Plan, organize, and implement developmentally appropriate early childhood programs for children ages 3 to 5.
• Engaging Environment: Provide interactive activities that spark curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving based on individual student learning styles.
• Classroom Management: Oversee classroom safety, supervise students, and foster a supportive climate for positive individual and group behavior.
• Family Engagement: Maintain open, cooperative communication with parents and families to support student growth and community relationships.
• Assessments: Complete individual child development assessments, daily inventories, and attendance reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, classroom discipline management, and a deep understanding of child development theory.
• Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain adult, child, and infant CPR/First Aid Certification within 6 weeks of hire.
• Training: Completion of the NM 45-hour entry-level training course (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire.
• Clearance: Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment criminal and FBI fingerprinting background check.
