Key Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama SPED (Special Education) licensure
  • Elementary roles require a K-6 endorsement

• Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to personalized education
• Ability to manage diverse learning needs with compassion, patience, and structure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction using evidence-based interventions in self-contained or high school settings
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to maximize growth
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates student strengths
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school staff
