Teacher, Deaf & Hard of Hearing

Are you passionate about inclusive education and making a difference in students’ lives? The Teacher, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program is responsible to the Director of Special Education and Supports and works under the direct supervision of the designated administrator(s). The Teacher, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program teaches individuals with hearing disabilities, providing services to promote cognitive, academic, communication and language, behavioral and social, and physical development.

This position is full or part-time , itinerant for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Successful Candidates will have:

• Knowledge of deaf culture
• Knowledge of American Sign Language
• Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CLAD, LDS, SB 1969 or ELA required).
• Professional training and paid or volunteer experience working with individuals with disabilities.
